On Thursday night the club retained their Northern Premier League status by coming from behind twice to draw 2-2 with Nantwich Town in a must not lose match.

The game acted as a middle segment in a a run of three games in the five days with the Seasiders recording a 4-2 win over Stalybridge on Tuesday and the final game set to be played on Saturday
