After another weekend without football Marske United U14's made a winning return to Kadar United as they push towards the top of the table.

A great start to the game saw the boys having most of the possession and winning a few free-kicks thanks to good play in the middle of the park

Marske did not utilise the early opportunities but then a free-kick from quite far out was despatched very nicely indeed by Sando to go 1 nil up.

Whilst having a lot of the early play we still didn't take our chances and Sam Payne in goal made an important save in a 1v1 situation to keep Marske ahead.

However, Marske switched off when a throw down the line hit the corner flag but crucially stayed in play allowing Kader to capitalise whipping in a great crass back post where the nodded In to level against the run of play.

HT 1-1

The second half started in a more competitive way with Kadar now getting a bit on the ball but nothing that really hurt Marske. This was on display when Isaac Miller pounced on a lose ball to hit a shot from well outside the box that deflected off a defender and rolled back to him to strike again for ag great finish to go 2-1 up.

Then a mad 15 mins followed with a mistake allowing Kader back in for 2-2 and then a contentious free-kicking smashed home from a good way out for Kader to take the lead leaving Marske to re-group.

A few changes were made with just over 10 left on the clock where Marske were having more of the ball and again creating good chances.

Jonah and Issac H played a part in working to ball to Isaac Miller. He only had one thought, and that was to drive into the open space go past his opposite number before unleashing a a cracking goal of the season contender to make it 3-3 with five minutes to go.

Marske then got a late free-kick around halfway which was launched into the box by Miller who found Charlie Allington who went on to score the winner to move Marske up to second in the table.

MOTM
Was the 'Mighty Miller' (Isaac miller). Fantastic all round performance but his drive to take responsibility on the pitch and to help lead his team to a win .

Overall Marske deserved the win even if they made hard work of it but showed fantastic character to get over the line ! Onwards and upwards.

Goalscorers: B.Sanderson, I.Miller x2, C.Allington
