The 23-year-old former Sunderland midfielder made his senior debut for the Mackems in the EFL Trophy in 2018 going on to make a further 3 appearances for the first team in the competition.
During his time at the Stadium of Light Jake made over 90 appearances for Sunderland's youth sides in the U18 Premier League and Premier League 2 competitions.
Jake has also had loan and permanent spells at Whitby Town, and was most recently on loan at Hebburn Town last season.
In the 2022/23 campaign he played 21 games for The Blues in the Northern Premier League Premier Division before making a further 17 appearances for Hebburn in the East Division, helping them to win the Durham Senior Cup
As well as battling it out in the centre of the park, Jake is also an accomplished left winger and full-back with a natural sense of versatility that will provide much needed depth to our squad.
Supporters attending our annual presentation evening on Friday were given an exclusive sneak preview of the news which we can now officially confirm today.
Jake becomes Graeme Lee's third signing of the season, joining ex Middlesbrough academy pro Nathan Dale and Newton Aycliffe Young Player of the Year Dan Myers.
Marker United would like to welcome Jake to the club and everyone involved is delighted to have him onboard as a Seasider for the upcoming season.
