Walking Football sessions continue to grow at Marske United. These sessions were set up to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of everyone after the challenging year everyone has had.
In the period it has now been running, various ages of men and women are turning up with the youngest 16 and the oldest 74. The sessions are also attracting some of the less agile supporters who are quite happy to come along and watch from the stands with a cup of tea. This has not only helped the physical wellbeing of everyone but has proved a great social outlet for others.
The 2 sessions each week are as follows:-
Monday evenings 18:30-19:30
Thursday mornings 11:00 - 12:00 NOON
These sessions are open to EVERYONE. ]The club have already had some excellent feedback on these sessions with both Men and Ladies turning up and enjoying the events and commenting on what a difference it is making to them.
Give it a try in a friendly fun atmosphere.
The aim of these sessions is for some slow paced Walking Football but more importantly to maintain people's interaction and help their Mental Health and also to maintain sustainability.
