North Ormesby were relentless from the off, finding themselves two nil up in the opening 7 minutes before adding a third in the 22nd minute
The Seasiders soon settled and created 3 good opportunities to level but failed to find the net due to near misses and clearances off the line.
However after the break, Ormesby scored a 4th twenty seconds into the second half then added a fifth not long after.
The Seasiders created some good chances towards the end but the game was never in doubt.
Despite the result it was fantastic to see a good 3 figure crowd at Mount Pleasant in the 12th Tier, especially with an attendance higher than some of our Northern League D2 crowds back in the day.
MOTM: Clarke, pulled off some fantastic saves to make up for an early error with a great second half display to keep the score-line below double digits. Honourable mention to Jones and the collective team effort.
The 50/50 winner was 10736 which has been claimed.
Due to the condition of the Mount Pleasant playing surface, the club have moved this Saturday’s North Riding League Division 1 home fixture against Heighington to the Herlingshaw Centre in light of the worsening weather forecast.
2pm kick-off. All welcome!
